Lessons are available in a variety of formats:
K-12 – School-aged students participate in a weekly hour-long Piano Lessons/Lab session. During each hour, up to 4 students get private instruction, work on other functional music skills such as sight reading, rhythm, listening and music theory and participate in group games and ensembles. This program follows an academic calendar with 2 semesters (August-December and January-May) and a summer session. Students have several performance opportunities throughout the year.
Adults – Adult lessons are a weekly 30-minute private lesson that is tailored to individual goals. The Recreational Music Making approach for adults is ideal for beginners with no musical background. Adults that do have some previous music background can work towards their desired goals.
Long Distance – Long-distance lessons are available via Skype or FaceTime. Contact Megan for more information.
